Ukrainian partisans sabotage key Russian supply rail to frontline PHOTO / VIDEO
Agents from the Ukrainian-Crimean Tatar partisan movement ATESH carried out sabotage on a railway in occupied Luhansk, the only stable logistics route for Russian troops and weapons to the front lines, according to the movement’s Telegram channel.
Two relay cabinets in different parts of the city were disabled, causing a systemic failure in train traffic control.
“The strike targeted the enemy’s main supply artery. This line connects Russia with Luhansk, running through Debaltseve and Popasna toward the Pokrovske direction. It is effectively the only stable route for delivering troops, ammunition, fuel, and equipment from Russia to the front,” the statement said.
Following the sabotage, train movement on the affected sections halted, schedules were disrupted, and trains became stuck. The enemy is forced to manage operations manually, drastically reducing capacity. Military echelons are accumulating on approaches to the city and cannot advance.
As a result, fuel and ammunition deliveries to the Pokrovske direction are disrupted, and alternative routes are overloaded and unable to handle the volume.
