US announces $250 million military aid package for Ukraine

The United States has unveiled a new military aid package for Ukraine, valued at $250 million, aimed at bolstering the country's defence capabilities.

The aid package includes a range of critical military equipment and munitions, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media. 

Key components of the assistance are RIM-7 anti-aircraft missiles, ammunition for HIMARS multiple rocket launchers, and artillery shells of both 155 mm and 105 mm calibers. The package also includes Stinger man-portable anti-aircraft missiles, as well as AT-4, TOW, and Javelin anti-tank missile systems.

The announcement underscores the US Department of Defense's commitment to addressing Ukraine’s urgent security and defence needs amid ongoing conflicts. The aid is intended to support Ukraine in strengthening its defensive capabilities and enhancing its ability to counteract various threats.
