Yerevan, Washington discuss defence cooperation

Armenian Defence Minister Suren Papikyan received US Charge d'Affaires William Chip Leitinen and newly appointed Embassy Defence Attaché Col Kevin Steele.

"The Defence Minister congratulated Col Steele on the start of his mission in Armenia and wished fruitful cooperation,” Caliber.Az reports per the press service of Armenia's defence ministry on Facebook.

During the meeting, a number of issues related to the current course of Armenian-American cooperation in the defence sphere, development prospects, as well as regional security were discussed.
