Zaluzhnyi: Russian strikes on logistics hinder Ukrainian offensive capability
Russian strikes on logistics infrastructure are preventing the Armed Forces of Ukraine from preparing offensive operations, according to Ukraine’s ambassador to the United Kingdom and former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi.
His remarks were published on the YouTube channel of the Kyiv School of Public Administration named after Serhii Nyzhnyi, following a speech delivered to students.
“Strikes on logistics make it impossible for us to create any strike formations on our side in order to take and launch an offensive,” Zaluzhnyi said.
The former military chief also described as “nonsense” statements by some politicians claiming that territorial gains are currently underway. He stressed that sustained offensive operations cannot be conducted without continuous supplies of ammunition and food.
