President Tokayev: Kazakhstan cooperates with Azerbaijan to develop digital infrastructure

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has said that Kazakhstan cooperates with Azerbaijan to develop digital infrastructure.

“Certainly, digitalisation is impossible without a modern and developed infrastructure, including infrastructure in rural areas,” Trend quotes President Tokayev as saying on September 28.

Therefore, Kazakhstan is consistently creating a digital infrastructure associated with international corridors and cross-border data flows, the president noted.

“Together with Azerbaijani partners, the work on the Trans-Caspian section has begun to connect to the world traffic concentration centres. We are talking about Southeast Asia and Europe,” President Tokayev said.
