Azerbaijani ambassador, Georgian professor explore new frontiers in education, science
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Georgia Faig Guliyev has met with Rector of Sokhumi State University, Professor Zurab Khonelidze, to discuss the growing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of science and education.
The meeting, which took place in Tbilisi, highlighted the importance of strengthening academic ties between Azerbaijan and Georgia, Caliber.Az reports via local media.
During the discussion, Ambassador Guliyev praised the high level of collaboration between Azerbaijan and Georgia in education, emphasising the shared commitment to expanding academic partnerships and fostering scientific exchange. He also underscored the significance of educational initiatives that support mutual growth and development. Rector Khonelidze expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and reflected on the importance of the existing contacts and joint projects between universities in both countries.
He highlighted the ongoing collaboration as a cornerstone for future educational developments and cultural exchanges between Azerbaijan and Georgia. In addition to the academic discussions, both parties exchanged views on other issues of mutual interest, reinforcing the positive relationship between the two nations in various sectors, particularly in the educational and scientific fields.
