Ukraine to send grain to starving African countries for free

The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated humanitarian aid to Sudan, Yemen, Kenya, and Nigeria. The famine-stricken countries will receive wheat and corn.
RBC-Ukraine reports that the resolution of the country's government instructed the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and the State Service for Emergency Situations to provide humanitarian aid - wheat grain (at least grade 3) and/or corn in a total volume of up to 125,000 metric tons.
The document allocates to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (for the State Emergencies Service) UAH 900 million for the purchase and delivery to African and Asian countries of wheat grain (at least grade 3) and/or corn with a total volume of up to 64 thousand metric tons.
