Putin shows no signs of stopping. We must escalate pressure: harsher sanctions, lowered oil price cap.
Comfort cannot be an option for aggressors. https://t.co/uNW0idWq91
"Putin shows no signs of stopping. We must escalate pressure: harsher sanctions, lowered oil price cap," Tsahkna wrote. "Comfort cannot be an option for aggressors."
Russia has intensified its large-scale attacks on Ukrainian cities, targeting civilian infrastructure and residential areas with cruise missiles and drone strikes, including numerous Shahed drones. The recent wave of aggression has caused widespread damage across multiple regions, including Lviv, Chernivtsi, Lutsk, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, and others. Civilians continue to suffer casualties and property destruction, with many homes, businesses, and critical infrastructure hit.
Despite ongoing resistance and active air defence efforts by Ukraine, Russian forces show no signs of ceasing their campaign of terror. This escalation underscores the urgent need for stronger international sanctions to weaken Russia’s military capabilities and pressure Moscow to halt its aggression.
