Baku, Moscow discuss bilateral ties, Azerbaijan-Armenia normalisation
Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Mikhail Galuzin at a meeting on January 30 with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to Moscow, Polad Bulbuloglu, discussed the prospects for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as cooperation between Moscow and Baku in the context of the implementation of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between Russia and Azerbaijan.
“During the conversation, the state and prospects of bilateral cooperation were discussed in the context of the implementation of the provisions of the Declaration on Allied Cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Azerbaijan dated February 22, 2022," TASS reports, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"A number of topical international and regional issues were also touched upon, including the prospects for the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations based on the implementation of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia,” the ministry said in a statement.
