Over 460 killed, 1326 wounded in Syrian earthquake

The death toll as a result of the earthquake in Syria has risen to 461, according to the Sana news agency, citing the Syrian Ministry of Health.

Thus, 1,326 people were injured in Latakia, Aleppo, Hama and Tartus.

Syrian Deputy Minister of Health Ahmed Damiriya said that four trucks with medicines and surgical supplies, 28 ambulances and seven mobile treatment and prevention modules have been sent to these provinces.

Earlier on February 6, large-scale earthquakes occurred in Türkiye and Syria, tremors were also felt by residents of Cyprus and the Libyan capital Beirut, as well as in Iraq.
