Vice president reveals total number of tremors, rescuers in Türkiye

Based on the latest data, a total of 790 tremors have been recorded in Türkiye, of which three were of 6 magnitude and 24 of 5-6 magnitudes.

Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay said 66 countries have extended a helping hand to Türkiye by sending rescuers and humanitarian aid, Report informs.

Oktay noted that 4,931 rescuers from these countries are already working on the ground and another 1,756 will arrive.

He added that a total of 103,800 rescuers are currently conducting search and rescue work in the quake-torn regions.
