US State Department senior adviser on Caucasus arrives in Azerbaijan PHOTO

The US State Department's new senior advisor for Caucasus negotiations, Louis Bono, is on a visit to Azerbaijan.

The US embassy in Azerbaijan made the remarks on its Twitter page, Caliber.Az reports.

During his visit to Baku, Luis Bono will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and other officials. The visit aims to promote the Armenia-Azerbaijan peace process.

The American diplomat will also visit Armenia and Georgia.
