Azerbaijani, UAE foreign ministers hold phone talks on bilateral ties, security issues
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov, and the United Arab Emirates’ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, held a telephone conversation on May 11 to discuss the current state and future of relations between the two countries.
During the call, the sides discussed the work carried out within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries, prospects for cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, as well as regional and international security issues, Caliber.Az reports, citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
The ministers reviewed the prospects for the development of cooperation in political, economic, trade, energy, tourism, and other areas.
They also expressed satisfaction with the directions of cooperation and mutual support on international platforms.
In addition, the ministers exchanged views on other bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
