Türkiye imposes number of bans on day of voting in presidential elections
A number of bans have been introduced in Türkiye on the day of voting in the presidential election.
This was reported in the Supreme Electoral Council (CEC) of Türkiye, Caliber.Az reports with reference to TurkicWorld
On the day of voting the sale of alcoholic beverages is banned from 06:00 to 00:00;
except those responsible for maintaining security and order in residential areas, everyone is prohibited from carrying weapons;
all entertainment establishments, such as cafes and Internet cafes, will be closed on Election Day;
only food may be served in restaurants that are entertainment venues;
no weddings will be allowed until 18:00;
until 18:00, it will be prohibited to make predictions or comment on the election and its outcome in the press;
from 18:00 to 21:00, election-related news and CEC announcements will be published;
all broadcasts will be free after 21:00, the CEC may set this time earlier.
