According to him, Azerbaijan is quite successful in energy issues and will take good advantage of it: "Energy resources of Azerbaijan will have their say".
The minister stressed that the Russian-Ukrainian war has completely changed the global energy market.
With the completion of the TAP (Trans-Adriatic Pipeline) construction on December 31, 2020, Azerbaijan began commercial gas supplies to Europe via the Southern Gas Corridor. The SGC is an initiative of the European Commission for a natural gas supply route from the Caspian and Middle Eastern regions to Europe. The route from Azerbaijan to Europe consists of the South Caucasus Pipeline, TANAP, and TAP.
Currently, the European market accounts for the largest share of daily gas exports from Azerbaijan. European consumers are supplied with about 27 million cubic metres of Azerbaijani gas per day.
