Ex-Armenian president’s son involved in case of attack on police officers

A son of ex-President of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, Levon, has been detained, lawyer Aleksander Kochubayev said on social networks.

Caliber.Az reports that previously, Kocharyan was brought into custody during the anti-government protests and was beaten by police officers, after which he was hospitalized.

Kochubayev noted that Levon was detained on suspicion of beating four police officers during the September 22 protests.

In this case, a criminal prosecution has been initiated against Kocharyan Jr.
