Armenian opposition's "National Committee" announces dissolution
A serious schism has emerged in the Armenian opposition.
Yerevan-based Hraparak newspaper has learnt that the "National Committee" created by the opposition to overthrow the Pashinyan government will be dissolved, Caliber.Az reports.
According to the newspaper, serious discord flared up in the "National Committee" as some members of the committee had deep disagreements with each other on the tactics and strategy of the fight against the Armenian authorities.
"In the coming days, the National Committee will be dissolved and Vazgen Manukyan plans to form a new National Committee, which will not include the majority of the current committee members. It will include mostly non-partisan, non-political individuals who, in Vazgen Manukyan's opinion, will make the fight against the government successful," the report said.
