Armenian pundit: Azerbaijan has strategic plan and implementing it

29 November 2023 11:18

Armenian political analyst Argishti Kiviryan has said that Azerbaijan has a strategic plan and is implementing it.

“Since [Armenian Prime Minister Nikol] Pashinyan and his policies exist, having any positive expectations would be a great waste. This person, I repeat once again, does not understand politics on a global scale, his place is the stage, the air broadcasting, where he feels quite good and tries to mislead the public. This person is simply unable to implement the policy that can really ensure the security of the state and the nation. Especially now, when we are going through such a phase of global turbulence," Kiviryan said in his interview with Armenian media, Caliber.Az reports.

"Unfortunately, in the case of Nikol Pashinyan, the current situation will worsen. This is reality, and let's not delude ourselves now that a miracle will happen. No miracle will happen. The problems will multiply more and more, and we will not find solutions for them.”

“As for the West, why did the West go after Armenia? Because Armenia is the weak link. If Azerbaijan was the weak link, they would have very quietly gone for all this at the expense of its interests. However, since Armenia is the weak link, they went for it. You know, this has always been the case in history for centuries, and it continues now. The West is promoting this model. They think, what should we do to get Russia out of this region? The answer is simple, we have to sacrifice Armenia. And what did Nikol get after that? He looked at the West, he still does, and he says to them, like you promised me, why didn't Aliyev come to sign the document? We all have been watching this last period for months. He went to Granada, they made a joint statement, he has expectations, this is all manipulation of the West.”

“However, we see that [Azerbaijani President Ilham] Aliyev has solved the Karabakh issue, and now why should he go there? What does he need there? And he is slowly solving the issue with Armenia. Signed or not, he is making his steps. They have a comprehensive goal, a strategic plan, and this strategic plan has existed for at least a hundred years," Kiviryan said.
