Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps mistakenly fires missiles at oil refinery during drills

On January 10, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) began a large-scale exercise called "Great Prophet 18." The first day of the exercise was scheduled to test air defence systems near the port city of Chah Bahar.

Iranian bloggers are publishing photos and videos that show one or more interceptor missiles deflecting off target and hitting an object on the ground. According to preliminary reports, a petrochemical plant was damaged, according to NEWSru.co.il.

There have been no official comments from the IRGC on this matter.
