Georgian premier begins working visit to Yerevan
Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has arrived in Yerevan for a working visit, where he was welcomed at the airport by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan.
The visit will commence with a one-on-one meeting between Kobakhidze and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Georgian media.
Following their discussions, the Armenian-Georgian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation will convene under the leadership of the two prime ministers.
After the commission meeting, Kobakhidze and Pashinyan are expected to deliver joint statements to the media.
The Georgian delegation accompanying Kobakhidze includes First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili—who arrived a day earlier—Minister of Regional Development and Infrastructure Irakli Karseladze, Minister of Environmental Protection and Agriculture Davit Songulashvili, Minister of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs Mikheil Sarjveladze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
