PM: Armenia committed to continuing peace efforts with Azerbaijan
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan reaffirmed Yerevan's commitment to pursuing the peace agenda with Azerbaijan during a press conference in Yerevan on January 30, 2025.
Speaking alongside Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Pashinyan emphasized that Armenia would continue making efforts toward achieving peace with Azerbaijan, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.
He also updated Kobakhidze on the progress made in the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, sharing that significant agreements have already been reached.
In addition to discussing the situation with Azerbaijan, Pashinyan mentioned that the talks also covered issues related to the demarcation and delimitation of the border between Armenia and Georgia. Both leaders agreed to intensify efforts on this front to further enhance bilateral cooperation.
Earlier, the Georgian side expressed its readiness to support mediation efforts in the Armenian-Azerbaijani settlement, signalling its willingness to contribute to peace in the region.
