Iran's military readiness: Rear Admiral Sayyari vows to confront any threat
The Chief of Staff and Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army Force for Coordination Affairs, Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari, has stated that the country's military is fully prepared to confront any threat with all its might.
"As a regional power, Iran plays a leading and influential role, capable of shaping developments across the region," he emphasized, Caliber.Az reports via Iranian media.
Speaking about the role of defence diplomacy, Sayyari noted that it is an integral component of Iran's military strength. "Defence diplomacy is one of the capabilities of the Armed Forces of the country, so, defence diplomacy is one of the components of power," he remarked.
The admiral also pointed out that strengthening defence diplomacy increases the country’s ability to establish greater interactions and cooperation with other nations worldwide.
Rear Admiral Sayyari also highlighted Iran’s extensive participation in joint military exercises with other countries, underscoring the nation's growing international influence. "We staged several joint exercises on land, in the air, and at sea with other countries and this issue indicates the high authority of the Islamic Iran in the international arenas," he added.
Reflecting on the post-revolutionary era, he noted that since the Islamic Revolution's triumph, Iran's enemies have continuously sought to undermine the power and authority of the Iranian Armed Forces on the global stage. However, the vigilant efforts of the Armed Forces have consistently thwarted these hostile objectives.
In closing, Sayyari reaffirmed that Iran’s army is ready to respond to any threat from anywhere, and as a regional power, it remains a dominant force capable of shaping significant developments across the region.
