Türkiye unveils domestically produced naval cannon VIDEO

Türkiye has unveiled domestically produced naval cannon.

The Turkish Ministry of National Defence made a post on its X account, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the information, the Defence Ministry is responsible for the design and performance. The cannon has already been installed on the TCG AKHİSAR (P-1220) ship.

"Our first 76/62mm national naval cannon has been installed on TCG AKHİSAR (P-1220) and prepared for port and sea trials," the ministry said.

According to the Defence Ministry, the production was developed in cooperation with the Istanbul Naval Shipyard under the General Directorate of Mechanical and Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE AŞ).
