Azerbaijan, Pakistan to further develop strategic partnership Top diplomats hold talks in Islamabad UPDATED

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, who is on a visit to Pakistan, has met with his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.

The ministers focused on various issues and also discussed goals for further development of the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan, AZERTAC reports.

The main focus of the agenda was on the issue of multilateral cooperation, which further strengthens the positions of the two countries at regional and global levels.

FM Bayramov is scheduled to meet with other high-ranking officials of Pakistan as part of the visit.

The Foreign Ministers of Azerbaijan and Pakistan, Jeyhun Bayramov and Muhammad Ishaq Dar respectively, are convening in Islamabad.

According to Report, Pakistan's Foreign Ministry press service confirmed the visit, with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Bayramov welcomed by Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Muhammad Ishaq Dar, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The discussions between the two ministers will encompass a range of bilateral and regional matters.
