The Qarabağ FK football club of Azerbaijan defeated Hungary's Ferencvarosi in the second leg of the 3rd qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.
The game that took place in Hungary's capital Budapest on August 9 ended 3:1 in favour of the Azerbaijani side, Caliber.Az informs.
Qarabağ FK's midfielder Zoubir found the net in the 7th minute of the game to score the first goal for his team. The next two goals were scored by striker Vadji in the 53rd and 78th minutes. Traore from Fenercvarosi scored the only goal of his team in the 86th minute
With yesterday's win, Qarabağ FK outclassed the Hungarian club 4:2 in the aggregate score as the first match between the sides ended in a 1:1 draw in Azerbaijan's capital Baku on August 3.
Qarabag's next opponent in the Champions League play-off round will be Viktoria Plzen from the Czech Republic. The first game of the tie will be played in Baku on August 17 and the second match in the Czech city of Plzen on August 23.
