Air Astana extends Dubai flight suspension through September 30
Kazakhstan’s Air Astana has extended the suspension of flights from Almaty and Astana to Dubai until September 30, 2026, citing continued instability in the Persian Gulf region.
According to Kazinform, the airline will reduce the frequency of flights on these routes starting in October.
Passengers whose flights have been cancelled will be offered several options: free rebooking for travel through November 20, 2026; a full refund of their ticket; or an exchange for other international Air Astana flights, subject to payment of any fare difference.
Air Astana had previously announced that flights to Dubai would be temporarily suspended from July 21 through Aug. 31 because of the regional security situation. The latest decision extends the suspension by one month.
