Airstrike damages Great Hosseiniyeh Mosque in Iran's Zanjan

An airstrike struck the Ferdowsi Street area in the Iranian city of Zanjan on the morning of March 31, damaging the Great Hosseiniyeh Mosque, according to a report by Iran’s SNN news agency.

Local sources said the attack caused damage to sections of the mosque’s dome and its minarets. There are also concerns that the interior of the building may have been affected.

Authorities are continuing to assess the full extent of the damage following the strike.
