Airstrike hits airport in western Iran

An airstrike targeted Shahid Ashrafi Esfahani Airport in Khorramabad on April 7, according to Iranian officials.

Iranian news agency Khabar Fouri cited a representative from Lorestan Province, who confirmed that no injuries occurred as a result of the attack.

Earlier the same day, Iranian state media reported that strikes attributed to the United States and Israel had damaged communications infrastructure in rural parts of the Seleseleh and Delfan districts, also located in Lorestan Province.

The damage reportedly caused disruptions to telecommunications services in those areas.
