The İHA-122 missile, developed indigenously by Roketsan, underwent a series of test launches, all of which were successfully completed.
The Bayraktar AKINCI, developed by Baykar, is a high-altitude, long-endurance unmanned combat aerial vehicle (UCAV) showcasing Türkiye's advanced drone capabilities. In September 2024, it successfully tested the TOLUN IIR guided munition, hitting a target 20 km away with precision using its imaging infrared guidance system.
The UCAV integrates a range of indigenous munitions, including MAM-L, MAM-T, and the IHA-230 supersonic missile, enhancing its operational flexibility. It has proven effective in both combat, such as the Pençe-Kilit Operations in Northern Iraq, and humanitarian missions, including providing critical support during the 2023 Türkiye-Syria earthquake.
The AKINCI continues to demonstrate its versatility and precision, solidifying its role in modern military and disaster response operations.
