Alcohol-laden trucks go up in flames in Ankara

A fire has erupted at a parking lot for heavy-duty trucks in Türkiye’s capital, Ankara, authorities confirmed.

The blaze has engulfed several trucks carrying alcoholic products, Caliber.Az reports, citing Turkish TV channel.

The parking area is situated near the headquarters of the capital’s General Directorate of Security under the Interior Ministry, raising concerns due to its proximity to a key government facility.

Firefighting teams remain at the scene, and efforts to bring the fire under control are ongoing. As of now, no injuries or casualties have been reported.
