Greek PM to visit Türkiye on February 11 for high-level talks

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to make an official visit to Türkiye on February 11 at the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Burhanettin Duran, head of the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidential Administration, has announced.

In a statement published on social media, Duran said the visit will coincide with the sixth meeting of the Türkiye–Greece High-Level Cooperation Council.

According to him, the Council meeting will be held in Ankara and will be co-chaired by President Erdoğan and Prime Minister Mitsotakis, with the participation of ministers responsible for relevant portfolios. The talks are expected to include a comprehensive review of the current state of Turkish–Greek relations, as well as discussions on ways to further advance cooperation between the two neighbouring countries.

The agenda will also include an exchange of views on bilateral matters alongside key regional and global developments. In addition, several documents aimed at strengthening bilateral relations are expected to be signed during the visit.
