Ankara waiting for Baku's consent to start talks with Yerevan on Zangezur corridor
Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu has announced Ankara’s readiness to hold a trilateral meeting with the participation of the transport ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
“We often meet with Azerbaijan’s Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev. We have also had contacts with Armenia’s transport minister. Holding a trilateral meeting is possible only with Azerbaijan’s consent. If that consent is given, we are fully ready,” Uraloğlu noted, saying that the initiative depends on Baku’s position, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
The minister added that preparations for the opening of the Zangazur corridor are being carried out at a high level, with well-coordinated work conducted alongside Azerbaijan.
“We have planned in advance what will need to be done after the full completion of the peace process. All necessary preparations have been made. In the past, we have implemented many joint projects, so there is no need to start them from scratch,” Nabiyev added.
