Another Armenian opposition bloc challenges election results
19 June 2026 17:36
Armenia's opposition bloc "Armenia," led by former President Robert Kocharyan, has filed a petition with the country's Constitutional Court seeking to invalidate the results of the recent parliamentary elections, according to Russia's state news agency TASS.
The move makes the Kocharyan-led alliance the latest political force to challenge the election outcome. Earlier, the "Strong Armenia" bloc, associated with businessman Samvel Karapetyan, and the "Wings of Unity" party also called for the election results to be annulled.
