Another Armenian soldier found dead as military deaths mount

Another Armenian serviceman has been found dead, with Sputnik Armenia reporting that a contract soldier was discovered hanging.

According to the report, the serviceman was due to arrive at his military unit on August 25 and begin his duty shift.

Armenia’s Defence Ministry has not yet commented on the reported death or provided details about the circumstances of the incident.

The case is the third serviceman death recorded in Armenia over the past three days and the sixth in the past month.
