Another oil product tanker sinking in Russia

A tanker named Koala with 130,000 tons of fuel oil began to sink in the port of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region.
“On the night of February 9, the tanker Koala (it sails under the flag of Antigua and Barbuda) was at the third berth at the seaport in Ust-Luga. The tanker had a crew of 24 people on board,” Telegram-channel Baza says, per Caliber.Az.
According to the sources of the channel, the cause of the accident could be an explosion of the vessel. It is known that on the night of February 9 the ship was loaded with fuel oil and was preparing for shipment. After that, presumably, the explosions were heard. It is known that the crew of the tanker consisted of 24 people, 4 of whom were Russian citizens.
