General, ex-deputy of the National Assembly Seyran Saroyan passed away in Armenia.
Saroyan was the commander of the Artsvik-10 battalion during the First Karabakh War, which was actively engaged not only in looting, and capturing property of the expelled Azerbaijanis, but also in the slave trade.
In particular, Saroyan's battalion actively operated in the Kalbajar, Gubadli, and Zangilan directions of the front, where it captured both the local population and the Azerbaijani military. Some of them he sold into slavery to Armenian moneybags, the other part was sent to work in the fields belonging to him.
After the war, he became one of the richest men in Armenia.
