Armed attack targets SOCAR vehicle in Georgia PHOTO

A vehicle belonging to the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) was the target of an armed attack on September 17 in Georgia’s Kareli district, located in the Shida Kartli region.

According to domestic media, the incident took place near the office of the ruling Georgian Dream party.

Preliminary information indicates that no one was injured during the attack.

The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has launched an investigation into the incident. Law enforcement authorities have reportedly detained one individual in connection with the case.
