Armenia accuses Tsarukyan’s sports complex of hiding millions in unpaid taxes

Armenia’s tax authorities have raised major claims against the Multi Wellness Centre, a sports complex owned by businessman and politician Gagik Tsarukyan.

The State Revenue Committee (SRC) alleges that between 2023 and 2024, the management of the elite wellness centre concealed taxes totalling around $2.2 million from the state.

Earlier, searches and inspections had already been conducted at the sports complex as part of the investigation. Tax authorities are continuing to assess the full scale of the alleged financial violations.
