Armenia admits its returned soldiers not tortured in Azerbaijan

Ten of the 17 Armenian war prisoners who returned to their homeland are now being interrogated by investigators.

The press secretary of the Investigative Committee of Armenia Vardan Tadevosya made the remarks on October 5, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

He explained that the remaining seven servicemen are currently undergoing treatment, and they will also be interrogated after rehabilitation.

According to Tadevosyan, there were no seriously wounded among the returned soldiers, some of them had light shrapnel wounds, but they were not tortured in captivity.

On October 4, Baku returned 17 Armenian prisoners of war to Yerevan.
