Armenia allocates $3.6 million for Independence Day celebrations

Armenia plans to allocate about $3.6 million for celebrations marking the 35th anniversary of the country’s independence, according to a government decision, cited by Caliber.Az.

Concerts will be held in Kapan, Goris, Vanadzor, Gyumri, Ijevan and Yerevan as part of the anniversary festivities.

The largest event is scheduled to take place in Yerevan on September 21, Independence Day. It will feature the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Armenia, the Chokhajyan National Academic Choir, as well as a number of popular music performers.
