Armenia announces upcoming discussions on Gyumri-Kars railway restoration

An interagency meeting between Armenian and Turkish representatives concerning the restoration and resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway is set to take place in the near future.

Ruben Rubinyan, Special Representative for Armenian-Turkish Normalisation, Deputy Speaker of Parliament, made the announcement, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“An interagency meeting on the restoration and resumption of the Gyumri-Kars railway will be held shortly. Further details will be provided after the meeting,” Rubinyan stated.
