Armenia annuls results at two polling stations
12 June 2026 09:03
Armenia’s Central Election Commission (CEC) has annulled the voting results from two polling stations and referred the relevant materials to the prosecutor’s office for further investigation.
The decision was made during an extraordinary session of the CEC held on June 11, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media.
The affected polling stations are located in the town of Agarak in Syunik Province and in the Nubarashen district of the capital, Yerevan.
Speaking at the meeting, CEC Chair Vahagn Ovakimyan said the decision was linked to irregularities involving military personnel.
“At both polling stations on election day, after voting had concluded, there was a gathering of military personnel,” Ovakimyan stated.
