Armenia appoints new territorial defence commander

Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturian has appointed Samvel Minasyan as Commander of Territorial Defenсe and Reserve Forces.

As Caliber.Az reports with reference to Armenian media, the relevant decree is posted on the website of the Armenian зresident.

In accordance with Armenia’s Constitution, the appointment was made on the proposal of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Samvel Minasyan was formerly the commander of one of the military units of the country's Defence Ministry.
