Armenia arrests man for arson attack on National Security Service

Armenian authorities have arrested a man who threw an incendiary device into the building of the Armenian National Security Service on March 6. 

The Prosecutor General’s Office confirmed that the suspect has been sentenced to two months in pre-trial detention, Caliber.Az reports via Armenian media. 

Earlier, the Investigative Committee of Armenia stated that a criminal case had been opened against the detainee under multiple charges, including destruction or damage to property by arson or explosion (Article 264 of the Criminal Code), hooliganism (Article 297), and terrorism (Article 308).
