Armenia, Azerbaijan moving toward peace, says Pashinyan ally

Armenia and Azerbaijan are progressing toward peace, and the process has already begun, according to Vagharshak Hakobyan, a lawmaker from the ruling Civil Contract party.

Speaking to journalists in parliament on 29 September, Hakobyan said that while peace has largely taken hold, the ongoing process still requires clarification of certain issues affecting both societies, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

“We have gone through a very difficult process and now have a safe harbour called peace. That is the most important thing. The intermediate issues will be clarified and resolved in due course,” he stated.
