Armenia begins fresh produce exports to UAE

Armenia has begun exporting fresh fruits and vegetables to the United Arab Emirates under a memorandum of understanding signed with Watermelon Ecosystem on August 27.

Initial exports are expected to reach up to 40 metric tons per week, with the possibility of increasing volumes in the future, Caliber.Az reports per Armenian media. 

Armenian Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan visited Watermelon Ecosystem in Dubai, where he toured the company’s facilities with its founders and reviewed its operations, infrastructure and production capabilities.
