Armenia–Belgium focus on bilateral relations, regional peace
Alen Simonyan, Chairman of the National Assembly of Armenia, met with members of the Belgium–Armenia Friendship Group from the Parliament of the Kingdom of Belgium, to discuss bilateral relations, as well as peace process with Azerbaijan.
Welcoming the delegation, Simonyan emphasized the importance of facilitating reciprocal exchanges of this nature to further consolidate and enhance bilateral relations between Armenia and Belgium, Armenpress reports.
Els Van Hoof, head of the Belgium-Armenia friendship group, highlighted the deepening ties between the two countries and affirmed that the group would make every effort to advance the process further.
The discussions centered on bilateral relations, ongoing democratic reforms in Armenia, the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan, and regional developments.
