Armenia blocks Kremlin propagandist’s talk-show
The broadcast of Vladimir Solovyov’s talk show on the RTR-Planeta TV channel will be blocked in Armenia, according to the press service of the Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Armenia.
As noted in the message, the decision was made based on constant violations of Articles 5 and 6 of the intergovernmental agreement between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of mass communications, Caliber.Az reports.
Thus, RTR-Planeta will continue to broadcast in Armenia in a public multiplex (that is, on a public broadcast network), but the programs “Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” and “Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov” will not be broadcast in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
It should be noted that, according to these articles of the agreement, the parties must not allow interference in each other’s internal political life on air on their public television channels and radio stations, and also exclude programs with offensive content towards each other’s peoples and states.
State TV presenter Solovyov, nicknamed "Putin's voice" for his stridently pro-Kremlin views.
