Ukraine strikes Taman Port in Russia’s Krasnodar region, three killed
The Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out an attack on the port of Taman in Russia’s Krasnodar region, according to local authorities.
Krasnodar Governor Veniamin Kondratyev said the strike hit port terminal facilities. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out, with four tanks containing petroleum products catching fire.
Initially, the governor reported that two employees of the facility had been killed and that several others were injured. Subsequent information indicated that the death toll had increased to three.
According to updated figures released by the Krasnodar region’s operational headquarters, eight people were injured in the attack. All of them were hospitalised with injuries described as being of moderate severity.
