Russia claims overnight interception of 31 Ukrainian drones

Russian air defence forces reportedly intercepted and destroyed a series of Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the night of January 21–22, the Ministry of Defence said.

Thus, from 23:00 on January 21 until 07:00 on January 22, 14 drones were shot down. 

Four were destroyed over the Volgograd region, three over Crimea, three over the Rostov region, two over Bryansk, and one each over Belgorod and Krasnodar Krai.

In total, the Ministry said, 31 Ukrainian drones were intercepted and neutralised by Russian air defences during the night period, which it defined as between 20:00 on January 21 and 07:00 on January 22.
